Launched my new kayak at the Catamaran launch at Naples Beach with a few friends. Got soaked launch. My paddle was feathered in the wrong direction and I found myself grounded. Surge and a good size wake soaked my pants and butt.
We paddled out on glass with zero wind, and almost warm out too. We started out at the docks and I pulled one barely legal sand bass with a swimming Senko on a sledhead. We worked our way counter-clockwise around most of the Island. But, we ended up back at the docks. Short-bites were the order of the night, but I got 2 more dinks, another on the swimming Senko and one on a dropshotted zipper worm. And that was it for me. My friends did better with 4 and 7 fish. Biggest of the night was a 15" sand bass.
MY wet butt ended up getting really cold and by the time I got to my truck I was shaking bad. But, the paddle back was easy and the landing was easy like the launch should've been.
I need to send out a big thanks to my new sponsor Southwind Kayak Center. Without them I'd still be yak-less and bumming a floattube on occasion.

Don't kill unless you're hungry.
