Ran down to S.D on Friday to try and snag a yellow or two or or three...on the iron. Unfortunately, fishing had taken a dive over the last few days, but I just wanted to get out and see what would happen. Well, I caught the only yellow of the day, a 12 pounder fish on a yo-yo iron. Saw some life in the morning, i.e bird schools, but that was it.
The boat had 20 fish the next day so things might be turning around. San Clemente has some fork there as well so keep an eye on things.
Things are starting to rock finally after a late winter.
