Went out of Marina Sportfishing (Long Beach)last night on the Enterprise for a twilight trip. We headed out towards the 150 spot (oil riggs), but stopped short at around 140'. Some of the worst looking bait I've seen in years. Nothing but pinheads. Not a whole lot of action the first half hour so we moved about 1/4 mile south. We stopped on a spot where we proceeded to rape the bass all night. Never had to move again. It was WIDE OPEN for over 3 hours. We caught them on anything we tied on, except BAIT! Everyone got limmits of Sand Bass, several over 5 lbs. Every so often, a skinny would take your bait for a ride. I kept a 5 & a 3 #'r and released everything else. Best trip I've had in a while. <BR>Tight Lines, Terry G.
