Hey guys, recently we've had a lot of new people coming to the site. Harbor Rat, Harbor King, among others.
I just wanted to mention a couple of things regarding forum etiquette that will help the forum to go smoothly. This is not saying that you guys have done anything wrong, I'm just trying to give some info that will help everyone to communicate better and keep the forum running along smoothly.

1. Writing in all CAPS is annoying and basically means that you are yelling. I think everyone got this message already, but just want to reiterate that.

2. When you are replying to a thread, there is no need to go through and reply in multiple places in the same thread. Reply to the main (original) message and say everything you need to say. That way people can read your message easily without having to look around the thread.

3. It really helps if you are going to be a regular poster on the forum, if you go in and create a login for yourself. You can do this by clicking on the text, first time visitor? - Please Register. Once you create an accout it is good forever, but only if you use it. I know some of you guys are using computers at school so you don't want to stay logged in there. What you can do is, every time you come to the forum, click on the login button and log in. When you close your browser when you are done it will log you out. The only reason it wouldn't log you out would be if you set your preferences to remain logged in. You can check and see if this is set for you by logging in, clicking on User Profile, and then clicking on User Preferences. Look for the option that says something like, remain logged in even after I close my browser window or something like that. Set that to "no" and that way when you close your browser window, it logs you out. The main reason I'm asking you guys to do this is because people, myself included, get confused about who is who when you guys post with different names. Pick and handle and use it so we know who is the king of what :-)

4. It's nice to have some new guys on the forum sharing info and reports.
