Just a couple of weeks ago I was fishing Right on top of the Full moon phase, and a couple days after, like Shark Girl was saying and had some of the absolute best surf perch days of my life (30+ but who's counting). But once the full moon was gone the fishing got really tough. I'm no expert but I believe the perch like to release their young on huge tides (which generally occur around the full moon). I also think that the type of fish being sought definitely has something to do with how much the moon messes with the bite. I also know that there are tons of factors influencing when fish really put on the feed bag (ie: current weather, water temp, bait availability etc. etc.)

So the moral of the story is

Fish when you get the chance!
