WELL I AM LEAVING FOR SAN DIEGO TOMOROW. I HAVE A TWO DAY ON THE NEW TORTUGA, LEAVING MONDAY. THE BOAT IS MERIT'S OLD SEA HAWK. HOPEFULLY WE GET A SHOT AT THE TUNA. THEY HAVE BEEN BITING FAIRLY WELL FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW.

SPEAKING OF ALBACORE, LAST YEAR I CHARTERED THE STARDUST AND WE WENT TUNA FISHING. LEFT ABOUT MIDNIGHT, AND WAS FISHING BY DAWN. I LIMITED THE TRIP TO 15. WE CAUGHT 38 ALBIES. MOST OF THE GUYS WHO WENT HAD NEVER CAUGHT A TUNA BEFORE. I TALKED TO JASON LAST SUNDAY AND HE WANTS ME TO DO ANOTHER TUNA TRIP. I WANTED TO LET BRIAN, PETE, LEAPING BASS, AND ANYONE ELSE WHO LOVES TO FISH WITH JASON A CHANCE TO GO WITH. I WILL LIMIT THE TRIP TO 15 I THINK I CAN GET AWAY WITH CHARGING $80 EACH. THE ONLY BUMMER IS WE HAVE TO SACK OUT WHEREVER WE CAN FIND A SPOT. THE TRIP WILL BE IN SEPTEMBER AND WE WILL BOOK IT ONCE THE FISH ARRIVE. PROBABLY FISHING ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. IF ANYONE IS INTRESTED JUST DROP ME AN E-MAIL. I WILL BE OUT FRIDAY ON JASONS BOAT, MAYBE SOME OF US CAN MEET WHILE FISHING.

TAKE CARE, AND GOOD FISHING.

I'm all for it. Thanks a bunch for the invite. Rob's been out of it, getting married and what not, but I bet he'd be up for it once he gets settled up in Fremont and stuff.

I was beginning to wonder where Rob was as I have not seen many posts from him lately. So, he moved away and got married? Poor guy...

Yeah, he's now living in Fremont. It's up north by San Jose I think. We actually drove through there on the way to the delta this weekend. It's like a town on the side of a hill. He got a new job, new wife, new apartment, what's next? New bass boat? We're all waiting for his reports from the delta. I wanna see how he does with those trout plugs.

I couldn't help but noticing your message about an albie-trip for $80, especially for a limit load of 15. I live in Orange County and there's no trip like that down here. Which port is the boat departing from? If you guys don't mind an outsider getting a piece of the action please send me an e-mail (odysseystudios@hotmail.com) when time draws near. I would really appreciate it.

I'd buy that for $80 bucks! If there's room, lemme know when its going down. I might be able to get more people too if you need 'em to fill the quota of 15 peeps.
