Well, I got back from the delta at 5:30 and was at the harbor by 7:30. While I was fishing the pro/teen up at the delta, I stopped in at the hook and saw this swimbait made by castaic. It looks exactly like a sardine, all fins included. It's a saltwater series lure so I picked it up. I threw it around a little today and picked up a short white seabass and shortly after, a legal. The first one was at 8:35. The second was at about 9. I took off at around 9:45. The legal fish was barely 28. Seems those good ones are gettin fewer and further between. There was a lot of phosphorescence in the water (I've got a good story involving one of my dad's drunk friends, a toilet and phosphorescence, but that's for another time...) and as I kicked, the water would glow that I stirred up, so it was really cool.
