Part 1)
Fished with Larry and Ned Washburn (Lurker Ned) for salmon. Mooching in 100 - 110 feet out in front of and just to the South (East) of the Arco Oil Island we got our limits by 11:30. Except for one dink (my first fish) all the fish were in the 20 - 25 lb. range. We were fishing anywhere from 40-60 pulls (or 7 Calcutta 400 level wind oscillations - hehe!) Most of the fish came on freshly killed anchovies and one or two were on dines. The snot missles weren't too bad on the bait and they were kind of fun to play with on the krocs and Big Hammers with a decent surface bite while waiting for the salmon to strike. 4 of the fish were caught with the 'chovies doused in Pro-Cure's Garlic Minnow Sauce.

Part 2)
After getting limits we went up to Rincon to fish bass for a while. A medium-slow pick between Rincon and Carpinteria produced about a dozen legal bass for us and a 13 lb. halibut for me (on a 4 inch Red Calico Hunter Big Hammer with the Pro-Cure garlic sauce). Calico Hunter, Red Calico Hunter, and Silver Sardine accounted for most of the bass.
