Actually I wore my gloves the entire time and have definetely found another use for them - LANDING CALICOS! As long as I remembered to lip them slightly deeper I had no problems at all. There were a few that slipped and got me but my thumbs definetely don't look like I spent the last 7 days lipping hundreds of fish.
