Well, it sounds like the one I was in today went about as well as yours Brian. We had 6 out of 11 anglers bring in legal fish. Most were small sandies (5 total I think), there was also 1 spotty and 2 big sand dabs. I had 5 short sandies and a really short butt. I also managed to create a new category (which I won), the Weird Catch Award. I caught a small Octopi which fought like a shoe, but a won a nice bait knife for it. Oh well. I fished a Fast trac for nothing which really stank, as that was to be my secret weapon. We all had fun even w/out a lot of action. Maybe next time will be better. Our next event is in Oct.(probably Newport), so I might be able to make it for the 23rd. My b-day is the next day so that would make for a good weekend. Newport tomorrow, that should be much better.

p.s. Brian, I'm still looking for a ride out to the paddies. We might just have to wait until next year and save up some money so we can pay for a real boat and crew. I keep in touch.
