I heard the halibut are starting to bite in the bay, so I took the kayak out to see what I could come up with. I split time between trolling A rebel Fastrac and throwing a 4" blue/green sardine Bighammer. I only fished for 3 hours, but I caught one short around 20" on the fastrac and had a few bites on the swimbait. I've always done better in the past on calm sunny days, so today wasn't too bad considering how ugly it was.
