hey everyone, went to casitas for a few hours today. got in the water around 11 threw only a 9 inch osprey all day, worked a lot of big fish spots for nadda, pulled into a spot that looked o so good and decided to take a 10 min break and let my arms rest by using a pig n jig, second cast got bit, hooked it and it got off. weedguard on my jig was a little thick. went back to throwing the osprey for more nadda as the wind picked up, picked up big time at like 1:30. off the water around 2, highlight of the day was a sun-tan and 2 does deer and a buck right over off of deer slope, very cool. beautiful day on the water.

Hey Scott I plan on going up to casitas in a week or so and it has been about 5 months since the last time I was there. What area did you get you jig bite in? What color were you throwing?
