Okay, I want my money back! I received this bait on Friday and went to try it out on Saturday at Perris. First cast and a damn bird decided that it looked tastey so decided to attack it. The bird swiped it at least 4 times while I was trying to retrieve it as fast as I could to save the bird and the bait. By the time I got it to shore it was cut up deep enough that I could not use it again for fear that the water would get inside of the bait. Need to patch it up.

I guess that's the price to pay for realism. :)

That's funny, I think I've had more birds attack my swimbaits/ trout plugs at Perris than any other lake, stupid birds, wish the bass would be as interested.

Most of the time you can just crank your bait down a bit to lose the birds interest but that floating huddleston isn't diving too deep no matter how hard you crank on it. It should still work fine after you patch it up, there's already a couple holes in the bait that let water in. My bait usually is full of water after the first couple casts, doesn't seem to affect the action.

Remember the birds attack from underwater also, and they fight alot like bass, until they jump :D
