I have the same problem with chafing of the inner knees. I wear capilene long underwear bottoms & they work great. They wick away moisture & are comfortable.

A lot of guys are now wearing breathable waders & seem to really like them. Haven't tried them yet, but I saw Hodgeman's are on sale this weekend @ Sportmart for $79. Fleece liners seem to work well with them.
