I am in the process of getting a rod handle that I've been chasing down.

When I get it (in approx 2 weeks), I wanted to hire someone to help me choose a blank, and guides, and pay them to put it all together.

I'm looking for building a premium rod, with a premium blank and components. I have specific applications for the rod, and want to converse about what I have in mind.

I'd like to get someone with rod building experience, and someone with the time/focus to pull this off in the relative near term...

You might want to give this guy John Freese a call in SF. Get in contact with Hi's tackle for his info. He's worked on repairs for a couple of my rods along with some customizations (sp).
