Can anyone tell me whether thay've tubed at Leo Carrilo and if they've had any luck? Also, any good surf fishing spots south of Pt. Conception.

In responce to your query about any good surf fishing spots, I really like "flat rock" down by Deer Creek road. If you're coming southbound on PCH, you'll come to a turnout where you can park your wheels. There's usually a shrimp stand there, but the guy usually gets there midmorning.<BR>If he's there,he usually hooks you up with a handfull of crusties(if that's your preference) or you can bring your own stuff (bloodworms, clams, whatever..) I've also fished small grubs (motor oil,red or green w/ flackes)with some luck, but the bait gets them. Nice perch, croaker, and sharks.
