#12168, "New Slammers"

Picked up a few new 9" baits from Mike and tossed them in the pool to check out the actions. Stoked as always. Got a bass and a goldfish (new color) that are thinner and look good cranked down. And a dark rainbow with a wider body that wakes real nice.

The bass tail color was bugging me so I fabricated a new tail using the core of a basstrix hollow body swimbait and what I think was the tail from a mattlures hardbait bass. Glued up with some Mend It and felt pleased all around.

They look awesome! I catch most of my fish cranking the slammer down so this is right up my alley. I need to get some of these!
