Do some of you use frog hooks on your huds? I'm looking into putting a couple on the huds I have. If I may ask what size do you use? Also gammi or owners?

Thanks

Joe C

putting a trebble behind the first one works well, me and my uncle were out fishing and he caught a 4.31 smallie with the back treble

Tried all sorts of things and I think I'm coming to the conclusion that there is a reason most guys just stick to a couple trebles on the belly!

I thought about using them, and in theory it sounds good and looks good. However, the only way I know to secure them to the underbelly is by using clipped paperclips. Thats all good and fine if you arent fishing weedy lakes and you know your bait will not be hitting bottom every now and then. I opted not to mess with the frog hooks since I get into weeds every other cast and that would just be too much of a hassle to have to carry that many paperclips and re-rig the hook soo many times. Plus, the frequent pulling out of the clip may tear my bait apart.

Stick with trebles.
