Has anybody used these yet??? Read the review on Tackle Tour and I know that TW has 'em for sell. Do they work anything near they way they advertise? I can't replace my Lucky Crafts and other expensive baits :( often, so I was thinking these would help me keep the baits from breaking off often.

I think I read something about they only come off with direct pull. The idea is that the rod should absorb most of the pressure on the ring when fighting the fish, and will keep the ring under the exact amount of pressure requied for it to pull off. Then, if you snag, you tighten down the drag and pull the line straight towards you, so the rod is like perpendicular to your bodyI suppose if I was using braid and a stiffer rod this could be a problem. But my crank and rip rod is a Loomis CB845 and I use mono, so I'll think it be good. Obviously this wouldn't be the shiz for swimbaits but it would be awesome if you could get your swimbaits back more often...x(

You buy sizes according to your line size. For example, if your fishing 20 pound line, you would buy 15 pound rings. That way the rings will always pull free before the line breaks. Most of the time you wont fish 20 pound line with a 15 pound drag unless swimbait fishing.
