What's the do-hickey on the top of the tail of the Dagored?

It kinda looks like a noise maker. Something for the propeller to click on maybe?

The prop on the back of the Dagored rotates and clanks against the little beveled piece on the retrieve. This is kind of the same thing as the Deps Buzzjet or Shimano Triple Impact baits. Surface wakers whose side to side action is actually generated by the resisitance of the prop in the rear. I'm kinda disappointed in the Dagored though, the jointed body actually steals some of the resistance the bait should have. If it was a little bigger, like the Mikey it probably would work better.

I'll put a plug in here for Walton's pond...
Was in there today and hes got 7 inch slammers for 32 i believe in light trout, dark trout, and the purple nitro color, hes also got some 9 inch slammers in stock, light and dark trout, the nitro color and black with a green tail for around 38 I believe

There are also some Huddleston's in stock all ROF's in hitch and the ROF 0 and 16 in trout color... so if you didn't order from tacklewarehouse you can still get some swimbaits in time for X-mas...

re:Dark Rainbow Osprey Hardbait - painted by Jerry Rago

Is this common knowledge or just an assumption?

Common Knowledge ;-)

That's Jerry's design from the original Generic Trout. And Osprey lists the bait as being painted by him.

I figure it's common knowledge? I don't even know who I heard it from. Just look at the bait and look at Jerry's bait, it's the same paint job. Is it common knowledge that Jerry's softbaits are being made by Osprey? Does it matter? People OEM stuff all the time, just leaf through the Bass Pro Shops Catalog lol.

How are you posting without an email address? I've seen that trick a few times before and haven't bothered to track down how that is possible. I am going to find out though so that people can't do that in the future. Thanks for playin!
