Just was checking out the new Lucky Craft bait called the Real California Premium. Clearly the guys at Lucky Craft got some input on how to make an actual swimbait with this release and personally from what I see the detail on the bait looks killer. The head detail and the fins especially, wow.
But man, 5.5 inches! what a letdown... With the bait making technology that a company like Lucky Craft has it makes me so sad to see such small baits :( This bait could really be something in 9".
Here's a link to the Japan version (with typical funky japan colors) http://www.luckycraft.co.jp/products/2006/0605/0605_amago.html
Maybe we should send a petition for bigger ones? :)

Where do I sign?? I've seen some pretty big Japanese bass caught on some big lures ,so aside from maybe the tooling costs, why wouldn't they make a big version??? Paging Mr. Craft, Paging Mr. L. Craft.................
