Here's a sneak peek at the new and improved Trout replica Swimbait from muskysnax.com. The bait will be about 10" long and have microfiber fins and tails. No glass eyes or carving. All detailing is airbrushed to look like it's real! A full shot and video is coming soon once the fins and tail have been added. Hope you like what you see so far.;)

Thanks for the pic. I edited so that it would show up in the post. The forum software becomes unhappy when there are parenthesis in the name of your image file, so I saved the image off without them and then put it up again :)

Thanks Mike. I'm a big fan of Johns baits too and he was kind enough to share his tail and fins techniques with me. Our baits differ in the number of joints and the way we hinge them. Also I use oak wood and I believe John uses expanded pvc.

Nicely done, dont count out Matt Mcbee "Tater Hog" he sells mostly on Ebay and just finished a 7 1/2' trout swimbait that is kinda similar to a triple trout. He listed it on Ebay and the high bid is around $200.00 with a week left. Thanks for all your hard work guys it is nice to have options especially on heavily pressured western resevoirs. I am looking forward to seeing the completed Snax Trout swimbait. Peace Rich

Here's the completed bait. This one isn't for sale and will be shown around by my marketing man Don Blizard. Batches of these will be posted for sale at www.saltwaterlures.net in the near future. Each bait is meticulously crafted from solid oak and balanced before it is airbrushed. I swim every single one before it is sold to ensure it works flawlessly. Price is $100 per bait.

Dude, you guys gotta make a trip to California sometime :) I was driving down the coast today and there was a guy fishing from shore in shorts with no shirt at 9am lol.
