#2928, "Nominate you favorite posts of all time"

I'm going to work on a new section for the site that is sort of a Hall of Fame for great posts. It could be an instructional post, a great fish story, something that was really funny, etc. I'd like to hear your nominations for great posts from the past.
If you have any favorites, please reply to this thread with a link to the post.
To get the link, go to the post you want to nominate, then click once with the left mouse button in your browser where it shows the link like
http://www.calfishing.com/dc/dcboard....... etc
Then right click on the highlighted text and click copy. Then compose your post and right click in the message and click paste to paste in the link.
You'll have to open up more than one browser window if you want to search the old posts in one window and compose you reply to this post in another window. To bring up a new internet explorer window, click at the top on 'File', then click on 'New' and then 'Window'. Or hit Control N on your keyboard.
If you are having a hard time using the search feature on the forum to find what you are looking for, click on advanced search. In advanced search you can search for a few words and check the box that says to search for them in terms of 'and' instead of 'or'. If you search for the words with the 'and' search logic it will search for all of the words together. If you search with the 'or' it will find all of those words even if only one of the words is present in the post. For example, searching for mexico fishing trip with the or logic will find every post with the word fishing in it. Pointless. Searching for that with the and logic will check for posts that have all 3 of those words in the post. Even better is to pick unique words, like if you knew the post you are looking for said Ensenada in it, search for Ensenada Mexico trip.
Thanks and let's hear your favorites!

Well I'm sure when this thread comes to an end, this will be my favorite :-)
But until then, here's my all time favorite:
You know you fish too much when...

And here was a follow up by Rob's Wife. Foofisher's reply was classic!
