#1538, "SJ Ponds?"

As your going down I think its 680 (?) you drive past a golf course near san jose, there's like 10 or 12 ponds right there, can you fish those? My dad said he thought he remebered people fishing in them, but he didn't know for sure if it were legal. If they are legal to fish, they look pretty good, assuming they have fish in them...

If your talking about the ones along 101 between SJ and Morgan Hill, the golf course doesn't allow fishing, but the ponds just South of there are good. Take 101 to Cochrane W to Monterey N and turn r at the "Tomcats" model aircraft club sign.
The typical bass here is between 12" and 16", but get up to +8# and are fairly plentiful. Shore access is limited by reeds etc., but a float tube will get you into plenty of fish.

Tight lines,
Wade
