I am planning on going up to Pyramid this weekend to do some bass fishing. I know the stripers are doing good but am looking for large or small mouth. Any info on how the bass are doing would be appreciated.

On the 29th I went striper fishing with my dad....We had beached the boat in the Across from the bait shop and I got bored of soaking a chovie soI took my jig stick and a drop shot rod over to where that barbed wire comes down. Up shallow were two Largemouths that show interest in a Black Jig with a Black and Blue Bonzi Chunk Trailer and also showed interest in a drop shot Aarons Magic Worm.

With the weather the fish don't know what to do so some are shallow and some are deep...I know castaic had a good jerkbait bite before the front so you may want to throw jerkbaits also

Thanks xcellentfx, I will give that a try. It is good to here that they are shallow. So did you catch them on the jig or worm? Or di they just show interest and not bite? What is the water temp, do you know?

I was on the shore so not sure about water temp... I think both would have taken it had I been further away from them....But the both must of seen me and swam off...I did get the jig fish to follow the jig up a couple of times
