#16654, "geobass introduction"

Hi Guys! I'm new to this forum and I wanted to introduce myself.

I've been bass fishing for about three years. My home lake is Castaic and my favorite spot is the Castaic Lagoon. I have a yearly pass to Castaic and I intend on using it a lot this year.

I also like to fish at Pyramid.

My favorite way to fish for the LMB is finesse worm fishing on light line... dropshot mostly.

Also I like the Senkos and Ika... ususally fished on a little heavier setup T-rigged.

My primary interest... catching trophy LMB. Best I've ever done is 10.5 lb. LMB at the Lagoon. But I also enjoy going for trout and striper from time to time, I consider myself to be a switch hitter.

I look forward to participating in the forums, sharing and learning a lot about fishing and catching more and better fish which for me equals having more fun.

Good fishing to ya, later..... geobass

The recent reports I've read from the Lagoon are that some LMB have been caught from the shorline on plastic worms in the last week or so.

In the last few days with the freeze........ guys have basically been getting skunked due to the cold.

Some have been doing good with the striper and LMB on the upper. The winning weight in a LMB tournament the other day was close to 24# I think, but those guys are pros.

I havent been up to the Lagoon since the most recent trout plant was made. Havent heard aobut trout being caught at the Lagoon yet either.

I will be serioulsly back in action at Castaic starting in mid Feb.

Don't worry........ you'll be hearing from me!

Good fishing to ya, later..... geobass
