Didn't make it up to the lake today until very late around 6:30pm due to finals week papers etc. It was still
hot up there and calm. I fished the marina cove with the moss master frog, a jig, and the ac minnow. Hooked
up a nice fish that looked around 4lb but lost her at the boat when she shook off the hook. That was it for
the entire marina cove. I worked down towards the white oak launch ramp as it got later and when the sun
went down they finally started to bite. I wound up getting 5 on a rapala skitter pop in the shad color. One
was a dink and the rest were about 2 pounds apiece. It was fun to get them on the surface. They were just
cruising over the weed beds. Fish the lake early and late for the best results!
