Anybody ever get down to the rock quarry just behind azusa greens golf course? I've been there a few times and had some success. I'm concerned about the potential trespassing fine I might have to pay if I get caught. Anybody ever been busted? How much is the fine? All info regarding this topic would be appreciated.

Swings are free,
Tim

If you are under 18, you'll get a lecture from a cop. If you are over 18, it is not just a fine, but is a potential midemeanor. The usual penalty is probation and a rap sheet. A real bummer, even more so if one goes fishing a second time and gets caught while on probation.

There are already enough people out there... PETA, environementalists, etc. that don't particularly care for fishermen as it is. Why add fuel to the fire? It's not worth the risk and it's damaging to the reputation of all fishermen. Respect the no-trespassing areas and we'll all be better off.

Well put SJ.

I used to fish the quarries my self but I've changed my ways and I believe what SJ said makes a lot of sense. I know it's hard to resist given the amount of bass and close to home location for many but if you take the time to learn a few our public lakes you still will be catching a lot of fish and hopfully releasing a lot of fish too.
