Give Brian a crack at it first. If for some reason that doesn't work out for you, call my good friend John D. at Sav-On Tackle. He is a part time manager at the store and wraps rods for side work. Know what you want for guides, wraps, etc... before you call. I'm sure he can work up some numbers for you for a price comparison. i know business priorty should go to members on this board, but for those that live in or near the l.a. area, New World Tackle on western ave. in l.a. wraps calstar graphite rods for pretty cheap. i never got one there myself but i heard the quality is decent. the base price for rod with basic components was $139.99 the last time i was there, which was a couple months ago. don't know the exact address off the top of my head but i think you could look them up by going to the calstar website.

ive been there quite a few times and i think its on third and western
or something like that but i had a question for any of you guys that
would know why when i try to register and am accepted known of
my posts are shown and im still a unregistered guest?
