i might be headed out to do some pier fishing and was wondering what the leopard bite was like?
im not sure where im going (either balboa, newport,seal or huntington pier) and was looking for someone who knew where i should go.
anytips are appreciated

As for your suggestion of rigging for Blue Sharks off of peirs, I've had limited success with freelined Macs collar hooked with a 7/0 J, 7' of 120# cable, and a float that the Mac can pull under if it wants to but cant keep down for more than a minute. This is only for peirs and boats though. I've also wrapped a fillet strip around their tail while doing this for more scent. Tie it on with Magic or spawn thread
