Fished the surf with 3 inch big hammers this morning from about 9:00am to 11:00am. The weeds weren't as bad as last Friday though still pretty annoying. More annoying was the complete absence of action. Saw a couple of kayakers fishing the old sewer line out a ways from the end of the pier but they also got skunked. hopefully the halibut will move back in soon.

It's been pretty slow out there lately. Hopefully this weather will keep up and we might have a nice situation come Saturday or Sunday as there is a high tide in the late morning.

I fished it from 4:30 to 5:30 on the same day for nothing. I may have had a fish on but it was hard to tell if it was a weed or a fish but the sea wolf came in clean. I did see the fly fisherman though. What are they fishing for?

The Fly Fisherman were most likely going after perch but you never know what you are going to hook in the surf.
