Karl (OkieBug) and his "Salty Balls" met me at the SS ramp followed by Brian & Brian 2 for some Bassin'/Buggin'. We launched both our cans for a slow pick on sm. sand bass and sculpin. We did manage a few decent calico's once the sun went down mostly on the Black Diamond Big Hammer or anything with red in the 4" size. Not much current so we really had to work for our bites especially with the weak high tide coming so late. Didn't really get any photo worthy fish but I did take this pic. around midnight:

WOOOHHHHWWWW!! you guys caught all those lobsters!! In Long Beach?? Off a boat or shore?? Since you hoop netted, what was your choice of bait? Chicken? Please advise!!

Never hear of anyone using chicken but I wouldn't be that surprised if it worked? Slightly rotten fish or very fresh is best for hooping along with a good location. The redder the better!
