I really do agree with you on the whole small fish thing with this bait, Rob. I was fishing a mudline up at Pine Flat a while back and as soon as I cranked it out into the cleaner water I had a 10" spot completely annihilate it. Weird, but I've caught some decent fish on it too.

It's definitely an 'all sizes' bait. I know guys have caught big ones on it and like you and I have both experienced, the small ones get frisky on it too. I think that explains a lot of it's tournament popularity - because guys can pick it up in a tournament and just get a lot of bites of all sizes. It's a good bait for sure.
