Has anyone tried the new SR Plastics Dragon swimbaits? I see it on the Tacklewarehouse site and wonder if anyone has had luck with it. Sorta looks like the stocker trout. Thanks.

I have one and my freinds have a couple too. Before Scott put 2 more slits on the side of the bait, it just swam strait. But now with the slits on the side all the way down to the bait, It looks great. Havn't seen anybody catch fish on them yet but have heard about getting em.
If you were to get them I would get the new modified bait with the slits.

Later

I have a few they are awsome they have a sick little zig zag motion, but this bait isnt ment to be slow rolled it works better if you burn it so if your looking for something that doesnt flop over to the side with faster retrievs this is a sick bait. I havent thrown the bait all that much but I have gotten plenty of follows and a few hits but thats it.

If you have the original DAGON you can still modify it by adding the slits in the tail, after working with John Kerr on this bait I decided to add the slits to the baits and market them that way. If you have an original one and want to exchange it for the newest model, send me a personal e-mail, "I STAND BEHIND MY PRODUCTS 100%" The Dagon has been is such high demand locally, nationally, and internationally, that we are almost into a waiting list. We have been asked to create a 14" version for overseas for guys who want to troll them for giant marlin and sailfish, and apparently they have been killing em at Diamond Valley on the Hologram Rainbow. As always feel free to call us with any legitimate questions or comments.

Hey Scot, I was looking at your website but couldn't find the hologram rainbow you mentioned. Is that the dark trout? Thanks.

The Hologram trout is a custom color, very simple really. The belly and back are glass clear with hologram whisker glitter and small silver glitter, it has the same violet pink rainbow lat line with large black glitter and red eyes.
