It is cheap and hard to find any reviews on it other than it being heavy. They are out of stock on replacement bladders which tells me either people just order them because they are cheap or they have a problem. Anyone know what's up with this thing? Is it more trouble than it's worth or bad quality or something? My other choice is a Creeek Co pontoon. I am obviously looking for a decent quality pontoon that sits me high and dry, for not alot of money. I am selling my jonboat and still want to float small rivers. I will then be buying a bigger bass boat down the road for large lakes.

Hey Andy,
Creek Company makes an excellent boat for the $$$ and you can't really go wrong with them. Their customer service is also top notch.
One thing to look for is an Aluminum frame to save weight and resist corrosion. Another thing is the seat. Make sure you go with a boat that has a molded plastic seat. The fabric seats can become uncomfortable You will be sitting in it for long periods of time.
An ODC 816 is a great starter boat at a great price and has the features I mentioned above.
I don't have much experience with the TU Colorado. I know some of the guys who read this forum own them so they should be able to answer you question about them.

Cool. thanks for the early replies. Keep my thread alive and eventually someone that has had or has one will pop up. WAY more action on this board than on KFP. I know this has to be a question for many people looking to make their first purchase when it comes to a kickboat.

I have the Colorado pontoon. It's a pretty stable pontoon. It's pretty wide, so you don't have to worry about it rolling. The only thing I don't like about it is that it weighs too much.
