WOW That 2003 Open brings back memories. During the weigh in. My daughter was to my right writing the weights. She was 13-14 and Michael was barely 6 months. Lynn who was to my left was also helping and is no longer with us.

That was my favorite one to watch when I pulled them all up. A lot of those guys no longer fishing with us.
Remember when Mike Pierce brought up that toad and his wide eyed look? Them was the "good old days"!

We have been doing good. Bass boat sitting in the garage ;(

Sucks when you have a boat for freshwater and look at the ocean everyday :-) Leah and I have talked about doing a trip down to california with boat in tow for a week or two, will keep you posted if we do it.

I basically get my fishing fix at the jetty on Tillamook bay, lots of black sea bass that eat swimmers and grubs the random ling cod or cabezon if it is a lucky day. It sure is fun to catch a limit on plastics and walk it by all the bait fisherman still waiting for a bite, some people just never want to try something new. Leah and the other Filipinos in town sure like that I fish.

If you are ever here during the Summer though June - September, that is when we go big boy fishing :-) TUNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The august Buoy 10 salmon fishery is also pretty killer I got a buddy I go with that is always dialed in.
