We are less than 2 weeks out for the start of a new 2011 season. We start the schedule off this year as we have in the past at Lake Nacimiento on Feb 19th&20th. It a 2 day event that will most consist of DRAGGING for spots. Brian says the water level is considerably up since we we there in the fall. It's more like last February.
As we all know there has been some changes made this year and for years to come. One of the changes we have made are a canned food drive. We will be collecting minimum 1 can of food at each tourney that we will be donating to 2nd Harvest Food Bank at the end of the year. Our goal is at least 200 cans at years end, so if you can bring more than 1 can it would be great. We have a few 2 day events so any canned item not eaten at the tourney and you dont want to bring home we will take it.
Next thing is a bag of plastics, a bait, or a $5 donation is what we are asking for this year to better our raffle for the open.
For those of you who did not bring either canned item or plastic to the meeting we would appreciate if you brought 2. Same goes for those who did not make it.
For anybody that could help get donations for raffle that would be helpful and appreciated. After all this is to help better our payout at TOC and for AOY.
All that being said here is the info.
Saturday check-in 5:30-6:00am Weigh-in 3:00pm
Sunday check-in 6:00-6:15am Weigh-in. 2:00pm
Hope see to a bunch of you guys there.

I'll be there on Sunday (Got an AC Teams event at Santa Margarita on Saturday).
No problem with the can goods, but have a question on Donations for the raffles...What about reels or rods in good condition, these good enough for the raffle? Also, Do you want the plastics/baits in "unopened" condition?

If anyone is planning on being up at Naci early or needs something from town on Saturday, stop into Jim's Pro Bass Tackle shop in Paso Robles. Make sure you say you are fishing the Bass-n-tubes tournament at Naci too! It could really go a long ways for us in trying to get some Open donations.

Bryan we will take whatever. Most of the stuff we have given away in the past is all new. I'm sure we pancake some sort of tackle pack out of some items. Good call at stopping into the tackle shop there. If you guys are going early and need tackle last minute try to stop in where Bryan has mentioned. It could help out.
