well, after a bit of a hum/ha sesion I got to th equarries at noon on sat only to be told they will not let boats on th ewater if the wind is 20mph or more ;( I told the gal that it wasn't 20 and she checked and said it was blowing 18 mph and still wouldn't let me launch.I did notice a paper sign that tey had put up(after taking down the bbac "catch care and release"sign because it was making the kiosk just too cluttered! This place doesn't know or much less care about the bass and especialy the smallies in there. The whole time I 've been going there I have seen large stringers of small mouth(some big ones)being taken home by the meat fisherman.
I was pretty pissed an dlet the gal know but wasn't d%^k.I just don't know what we can do (if anything)to help the once good smallies in this mud hole.Very frustrated,Swampy

That sucks swampy cause that place is cool. You cant go anywhere else that is that close and have a good opportunity to catch a smallmouth.
