Just checked the results and see that Chris ended up with five for 22.06 vs. Tony Couch who had four for 9.15 lbs. Off to nice start Chris...Keep it going!! :+

Oh yeah, I forgot about that...well 500k for the win isn't bad either....I really think they should change that rule. Stren seems to have changed in the right direction, Co-angler can win a boat now regardless of boat ownership. Sure has my attention.

That's great news for the co-anglers. Just didn't make any sense that a co-angler would have to be a Ranger owner to take home the first place prize.
Any word on when FLW / TBF will coming out to the western states? Seems like they have way too many BFL tourneys that target the mid west and eastern states. Anyone interested needs to send an e-mail to FLW and let them know your opinion. NOW !! }(

From the FLW newsletter:
"Lowest qualifying weight: Chris Zaldain of San Jose, Calif., is going to the Forrest Wood Cup on a three-day total of 43-6. Even with that, he easily defeated Georgia’s Tony Couch who had just 21-3."
