#3659, "New Sponsorship - Fishco, Big Hammer, and Assalt"

I am excited and pleased to announce that I am now sponsored by Fishco, Big Hammer, and Assalt (they are all owned by the same parent company).

I am particularly excited about promoting the Big Hammer swimbaits for freshwater bass use. The 5" hammer has caught me quite a few largemouth the past few years and I think there's a big potential out there for it.

Assalt is also coming out with some new lines of heavy salt injected plastics in the near future that should be really cool.

So if you notice I'm using a little more big hammer and assalt and a little less fish trap and yamamoto, you'll know why :-)

Lucky dog you.. Big Hammer swimbaits are da BOMB!
I'm gonna have to see what they're pouring these days. Nobody has 'em up here. And I can use a resupply. :-)

A step in the right direction, no doubt! I probably wouldn't even be considering using swimbaits without your continued use of and success with them. Now, show us what you can do! (And be sure to share with us all the latest R&D 'secret' baits -- after you win a tournament or two with 'em, of course!) :-)

Thanks guys, I'm pretty excited about the deal because I'm getting a chance to use and promote some baits that I already really like. I'm sure I'll have some updates on new product and stuff like that in the months to come.

Its allways easy to promote a product you are allready sold on. I hope to never sign with a sponsor that I am not allready pumped on, but the higher you get on the ladder and money comes into play its hard to say what will happen.

I do know as of right now Okuma make's a kick butt reel and will someday be the choice of the best,Castaway Rods are 2nd to none and the concept flippinlures.com has could be a start of a new generation in online ordering.

Now get Mike Shaw on board then have your shirt done by Tri States. We'll be rock'n.Once again I'm proad of ya good job partner.

The 2002 team schedules should be out by mid Aug. per Mike.I know we talked about it in the past and I expect team BNT will be WONdering again, huh? Maybe even add 2 more events to the schedule.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-25-01 AT 12:06 PM (PST)

First off - congrats Swimbait!!!

Swimbait & John,

Just wondering what is the best way to go about and getting sponsored. I'm looking to start doing the team WON tournaments and hopefully going beyond that one day soon and was hoping you guys could give me some pointers on how to go about and get sponsored.

If its too much to put here you can e-mail me either at work or home (work = sfo1tmi@ups.com / home = iamdot@earthlink.net)

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give! :-)

Todd
