I want to get the ball rolling by throwing out some suggestions for next year. I wouldn't mind keeping things some what the same. My only suggestions are a random draw team event @ Naci in Feb. and a March Santa Clara County based event.

Any body else?

Here's my schedule picks

Feb - Naci team How will points work for a team event?
March - Calero (if possible }( ), or Disco, or Berryessa
April - White slough slug fest
May - Clear Lake Open - May 5-6 (mothers day - 13th, memorial day - 28th, catfeesh derby - 19-20th)
June - Middle River,(before the 15th) on the 3rd or 10th, the 10th has less moon and better tides IMHO.
July - Mildred Island
August - White slough
Sept - Berryessa (after the 15th). The SCBBBC classic is 9/29-30
Oct - Los Banos or delta somewhere

Nov TOC - Naci (2 day)

Keep in mind santa clara county will take a % of the purse for the event + a lot of extra permits. Usually around $250.00. Also with there quagga inspections you could be hit or miss with even having the event and they will still take the $$$. I can get all the insurance stuff they will need from CBF. I would love to fish an event in SCC and it should bring a lot of new faces.

SCBBBC did a good job working around the CBF schedule. I hope BNT can as well as I know a lot of guys will be doing it again this year

Lake you have your May tourney on just about the only weekend in May that is available to us for the open.

Yah I seen that. Didnt last year you do it on 4/30-5/1 and had good weather. Would it be possible to do it 4/28-29. Its impossible to change any event permit on clear lake or the delta after the july jamboree

Disco should be in pre-spawn to spawn not in summer when its a dink fest.

Berryessa in Oct was pretty bad. Wouldn't do berry in OCT.

I fished lex and stevens creek a lot in the summer months....lot a fish, bunch of dinks. Local SCC lake would be sweet, (calero in march!) based on this i would go with

Do you need us to bring anything to the meeting? Beer? Snacks? I plan on being there.

Nate here is my reasons why, it has nothing to due with Sept, it has nothing to do with the way points work. We as a club don't have many guys show up, we don't collect any money for the club(for TOC or whatever) when we could if we held our own regular tourney, the biggest thing was I had and still do have a major problem with the payout. I believe if we knew the payout was so low not many people would even want to go. I could go on and on Nate and if u go to meeting u can here all my reasons. I have nothing against the club and I want to fish that circuit sometime soon. I just can't justify how an open payout was less for 2nd place then a normal 30 person payout. 2 years ago when I got 3rd I won over $100 more than I did this year for 2nd. My winnings didn't cover my cost to get there, back and entry. Somethings wrong there.
