#46044, "New to Forum"

I've been lurking on the forum since moving back to the Bay Area and was thinking about joining the fun with you guys. I read that a non-member may fish one tourney with you guys before committing, which I'm sure Ill end up doing and thought it would be great to attend the Sept 8 tourney. Is there anything I need to do to prep for it? Is there any regulations on the boat? Any local guys in the Fremont area I can meet up with and talk a little more about the org?

Being this is my first post, I assume an intro is warranted.

My name is Ryan, and as stated earlier me and the family just moved back from Oregon earlier this month. I grew up in Hawaii and been fishing since I can remember, but only started bass fishing the last 7 years. Ever since that 1st hook set, I've been hooked and have fished for bass exclusively ever since. I've got a Scadden Skykomish to ride on, but have yet to get it wet since moving.im glad to been on the forum and hope to meet you guys soon.

Hi Ryan and welcome to bass-n-tubes.

Yes you are welcome to come join us at whites on Sept 8, and in October as well without any club dues being paid.
There are some rules and regulations that you should be aware of. You can read those here on the forum as well. Mostly basic stuff, fish size, quantity, livewell regs, and a few basic rules.
The only thing I can think of off that will be necessary to have prior to fishing a tourney would be a livewell.

Feel free to ask any questions, for the most part they will get answered. Look forward to meeting you.

Taylor

Welcome to the forum Ryan,

I know there is a few guys in your area you can meet up with. But, if you need to ask any questions or just talk about the club feel free to give me a call and I'll try to answer what I can.
