I recently received a pair of automatic SOSpenders for a gift and was wondering if I should keep them in Automatic mode or should I switch them over to manual? I rarely get to go out in a boat so I am not worrying about any high speeds. I am just concerned about fishing form my Kickboat in the rain and getting splashed and having the vest inflate when not needed.

the way i look at it is the only thing bad that could happen in a KB is if you get hit by a boat at high speed. If you do get hit you wont live anyways and the only thing that the automatic SOS will do is make it easier for the sheriff to find your body. I say leave it manual and make them work to find you. lol
