#20622, "Okuma Induron Reels"

I finally got a chance to check out the new Okuma Induron Baitcasting reels. Let me start by saying this thing is sic. Its there latest super free model with a 7+1 bb set up. It has a machined aluminum 1 piece frame that is extremely strong and light. I used the ID150 model and flipped with it at first. It could handle anything I did including using it like a wench to pull me into the middle of a tree to get my reaper back. I then used it for blades and casting 5" senko's and the free spool on this thing is completely awesome and extremely smooth. Thanks Okuma for making another killer addition to a very strong product offering.

Okuma is a sponsor for the BNT Pro Kickboat Open and we will have 2 of the reels to give away at Clear Lake this weekend. Be sure to hit me up and check them out.

I've been trying to get one of the 400's for about a month. I want the lefty and everyone is out! I finally found one, but now I don't have the money :(

Depending on where you buy it, they are right about $100.

They currently have the 400 on the shelf, this is a good reel for throwing 4 eyes and slammer type swimbaits. They have the 150's on order and should see them soon.

Bummer....I just bought an Abu Garcia 6501 for that Okuma swimbait rod. Our local retailer only carries the Okuma spincast and not many of those.
