Welcome to the forum.

I haven't seen anyone bust out the fly rod for a bnt tourney, but it doesn't mean ya can't. You are more than welcome to come and check out our first tourney of the year at the Delta, Beacon Harbor on Feb. 12th. Feel free to post any questions you have about the tournaments.

cz, I don't think there's an 8 foot rod rule, or at least there never has been and there's nothing in the rules about it currently :) I hope the club never puts one on because... who cares!

Rob is right. We have no rod length rule and no plans for one in the future. We have enough rules already :+

SCBBBC actually had some participants using just fly rods. I believe most of the time it could be a handicap (and I fly fish myself) but who knows!

Hey ,I have been fishing mostly scbbbc and some bnt tournies and they are always lots of fun and the guys in both clubs are friendly and willing to share info.I am definitly fishing the clear lake tournies and a few more.If you decide to try delta region I`d be up for caravan or split gas, just a thought.Dont forget those stampede smallies are getting pretty hungry.
