The 2008 Delta Open is in the books and John Lake set a new club record for total weight at this event with 41.24 pounds and the victory. Dave "Swampy" Ryle took tourney big fish honors with his 9.17 pound toad on day one on his way to a second place finish. Joe Castro is back in the kickboat and finished in third place. Club prez Paul Mibach took fourth and tied with John for day two big fish at 6.70 pounds.

Actually it was probably your best performance ever in a tourney wasn't it. Not to shabby to get a 20 lb sack and then back it up when the delta was putting out about 12 lb bags average.
