William, Jamie and myself got on the lake at Yorty Creek a little after 9pm and fished till 3:30 am. The fish were around and it turned out to be a pretty good night. I immediately caught a dink on a dropshot rig on the rocks. Shortly after William hooked into a huge fish that buzzed off some line but broke off. He then proceeded to catch a 4lber and 3lber in the same spot. I headed to the right side of Yorty (when looking from the launch ramp) and started to nail the fish with a big spinnerbait (my go to night bait!). Caught a couple of dinks then hit one of my better night (and day for that matter) areas and proceeded to catch a 4 1/2 and 3lber.

For the night I caught 10 fish (5 keepers 5 dinks). William caught a few more fish then at the very end hooked into another large one. Didn't look big at first (by judging the rod bend) but then it surfaced with our lights on it and WOW! Looked to be 7-8lbs which is a damn good fish for Sonoma. Surfaced once more, went down to the rocks, 'SNAP' goes William's line. Ouch, two big fish lost in a night. Oh, well, he's saving them for our night tourney where he's my partner!

Anyway, Jamie also caught a couple and lost a few more also. All in all a good night. Can't wait to get up their again!

John, no, we had to use our sources to get the combo! And I did have to park outside the gate and walk in then walk back out to get my truck.
