Sampy I am taking the pontoon out tomorrow. I was planning on going to Anderson to catch some small fish but I would not mind trying something new like s.c. or the quarries. I have not been to either. Let me know .

I'll be out there tomorrow with all of you (in my mind). And I'll probably catch the most and the biggest. Hold on, there's a tug on my line right now. I gotta reel in another big one. Whoa Boy!
Ok I'm back. 6.5 lbs. Top that tomorrow. Sorry this is a private pond. I don't let just anybody fish in my head.
I think I need to get out more often. I'm losing it! Or can you tell?

I'm looking at Calero Saturday in the Four Winns -- the launch ramp is open, right? Got an open back seat if anyone's interested; not getting to the ramp much before 10/10:30. Same old cell#: 408-833-9264.

I got to s.c. around 8 and was on the water by 8.30.I wheeled it over to the bridge only to find a bunch of debri(big tree fell and they cut it up and it floated to the put in spot)blocking the put in.So I had to go a little farther to get in,not bad though. Within 5 minutes I had my 1st fish in the channel(a nice 2.5lber hit the jig):) I stuck with the jig the rest of the day getting 3 more. They were kinda spread out but were all up shallow and smacked the jig pretty good.Biggest was almost 5 lbs. It was a great day with sunshine all day and the water warmed up from 48 to ablmost 53 degrees.Coming back in I had to kick through the debri and was thinking man, this is kinda harder than it should be.I didn't see a big tree I was pushing with the other stuff and my legs cramped big time. :o I had to get out at another place and was standing on a log stepping to the bank(it is all under cut banks and just deep enough to where I couldn't stand)when my feeet went out from under me and I ended up face 1st in the dirt/mud/leaves :+ Pretty funny site I'm sure :7 It was a fun day and I love flippin jigs at that place! swampy

Nick and I just enjoyed a nice day on the delta ;-)
Still a lot of big and small chunks of wood even a couple whole trees floating down the river and it is still a muddy cold mess. Sounds like some guys in the ABA event stuck'em but we couldn't find a bite oh and cooch had another pig in the photo section on westernbass so guys that are on'em are getting some good fish. We were only on the water for about 3.5 - 4hrs, I didn't feel like fishing the butt cold morning.
We went into one of the bays in Disco that I have done well at in the past during the colder months and I chucked a swimbait and dragged a jig about as slow as I possibly could and didn't get a sniff. Tossed a red bomber around a couple banks on the way back to the ramp for nothing as well. Found water up to 49.5 in the back of the bay on the sunny side late in the day.
