#46155, "Help with caddis high back tube and caddis navagator II"
Hi all new to forum, I have a question, one tube I have is a belly boat round style with truck inter tube and the new one is the one with the newer bladder style. Can this tubes be left with air in then aired up and ready to go? Thanks Bill

Hi Bill, Yes you can keep them inflated.
My round tube also uses a truck inner tube and I never deflated it. Every few years it would need replacing though since the rubber would begin to rot around the zipper and start leaking. My original kickboat pontoons had the PVC bladders and I never deflated those either. The bladders never leaked and I had them for a few years before I replaced them when the seams split on the covers.

I personally would not keep them inflated all the way. Every tube I've owned says do not keep them inflated. The tubes inflate or deflate depending on the warmth or the cold. Obviously the cold is no problem but the heat will inflate them to where they can be damaged. I always deflate my tubes enough to allow for them to expand while sitting in the garage during summertime especially.
