Shane - I'm sure you know this, but the silver and gold castaic hardbaits are reported to be extremely valuable. I would research the price you can expect to get before you part with that lure. I am thinking $700-$1000 range if memory serves.

How you been doing at Castaic? It's been bad for me, just kind of depressed I haven't seen any boils yet. lol

You're not looking hard enough LOL.
There are plenty of boils if you can
get on a boat in the mornings.

The clock-work busting that was happening last year EVERY afternoon at the west and east ramps is pretty much non-existant, along with those massive shad schools that were thick enough to walk over. As a matter of fact I haven't seen or heard of much shad around anywhere, I'd be there with shad net and bucket everyday if they were around.

May be a different story for you on a boat in the back coves etc :-)
